Reduce Your Carbon Footprint
Global warming is real. The planets ability to absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) through the land and oceans is being reduced 2 fold. Simply put, we have been taking a lot of what the earth uses to absorb CO2 and we are putting far more than it can currently absorb back.
On the left is a carbon calculator provided to us by Climate Care that will measure your flying emissions. It's really easy (and secretly, it's pretty interesting too). Select your points of departure and arrival. The calculator will display your emissions from this flight and the amount of money you should contribute to offset these emissions. Amazing.

If your meeting cannot achieve the same outcome over video conferencing than flying and doing it in person, Climatecare.org and other websites use 'carbon calculators' that allow travelers to offset greenhouse gases they are responsible for with a payment to schemes that reduce greenhouse gases by the same amount. These schemes include renewable energy, energy efficiency and forest restoration projects across the world, including India, Honduras, Kazakhstan and Uganda.
